Regularly referred to as the woman with a camera stuck to her face, that is me. Why?
Because, even when not working, I see beautiful images everywhere, all the time, that Simply need to be taken with my camera. Driven by the beauty and power of natural light I love to capture what I see at that moment in time. I am passionate about it and will sometimes stop mid sentence or walk when that image grabs my attention. A camera instantly captures the subject and moment in time. Natural light, when used to it’s full advantage, captures the mood and the moment – the camera and a creative eye is a powerful medium and you can capture that whole story in one shot. It has been my inner itch to tell and share that moments story ever since I took my first photograph.
With a personal attitude and mantra of “always look up” I tend to see things from a different perspective. Challenging the normal view. An inanimate object to anyone else may go unnoticed, it may even seem mundane, but to me I see something interesting, beautiful from a unique angle. So whilst harnessing natural light I find I can create photographs with intrigue, drama and instant engagement naturally, Simply by using a camera.
It made me wonder could I offer that unique element and bespoke style in business to commercial clients? I felt it was worth trying and set up Simply C Photography. I am so glad I did as I have happily been providing my clients with full time professional photography for the last thirteen years.
I am so happy I get to do something that I love and am proud that my business Simply C Photography offers an authentic alternative to traditional or studio-style commercial photography. It’s my job, my passion and my mission if you like, to help and support businesses, not just in Suffolk, showcase all that they offer; ensuring that their branding, product or food, people or service instantly grabs attention, helping them to stand out in their own unique way and ultimately attracting their ideal clients.
At Simply C Photography I don’t believe in following the crowd, I feel we should highlight what makes us different and authentic and showcase it to our advantage.

The Ipswich photographer with a pug
Often seen exploring Suffolk’s wonderful sites with my pug, Biscuit, it’s not surprising that I’ve become known as the ‘photographer with a pug’. Whilst she has been known to accompany me on a shoot, and even star in some of her own, the majority of my work is commercial photography for local businesses.
But what exactly is commercial photography and what does that have to do with a pug?
Commercial photography, as you will see from the variety of examples included within this website, covers a multitude of areas. In a place like Suffolk, which boasts such huge diversity when it comes to business, this is a great thing.
