Commercial Landscaping Shoot for Planet 14 | Photography Case Study

During the months of lockdown, I found a new love and appreciation for my garden. In fact all things gardening and outdoors hold a greater appeal, possibly because I am now so grateful for the sanctuary my own outside space has given me over during the rollercoaster of 2020.

Knowing how important my own tranquil space has become to me, I was delighted to have the opportunity to work alongside award-winning landscapers Planet 14, as they updated and refreshed their website. Capturing some of the amazing spaces they have created for their clients – including outdoor kitchens, communal spaces and practical installations of paths and piling has been Simply delightful.

Planet 14 offers a complete landscaping service and is proud of the team’s ability to ‘turn the ordinary in to the extraordinary’, creating a high-end product from design to final dressing.

I originally met with Thom and Jo, the inspiring husband and wife team behind Planet 14, when they commissioned me to photograph their beautiful home for use as a location venue for videos and photoshoots.

This second project with them required me to focus my skills on showing their commitment and dedication to supplying a consistently high-end service for their customers. Their attention to detail carries through to the branding of their equipment – their tractors and lasering tools – which made for beautiful shots that re-enforce their professionalism.

Key to their requirements was for the personalities of their team and their hands-on approach to shine through – and we worked together to make sure the photographs really captured the essence of Planet 14. They can now boast a website of crisp, relevant images that give visitors a clear sense of who they are, what they stand for and what customers can expect from this talented team.
