Capturing Every Angle: A Complete Business Photoshoot for Seven Group
In my role, I am blessed with the fantastic opportunity of showcasing some of our local business successes. And believe me, Suffolk is full of them!
A great example is the Seven Group, formed in 1997 in Ipswich, which now specialises in logistics, contract hire, fleet management, refrigeration, property, used vehicle sales and training! They are a phenomenal home-grown success story, and I was delighted to be asked to photograph their teams across every arm of the business.
This was a substantial project with a two-day window of opportunity and a great opportunity to show how much can be achieved with sharp planning and a clear creative brief.
Over two packed days, I captured:
- Professional headshots and team groups across locations
- Interior photography
- Candid lifestyle images across all their offices
- Trucks and logistics on-site and in action in Felixstowe
- Property, refrigeration and asset management at their head office
From reception to warehouse, I photographed it all and created a powerful portfolio that radiates professionalism, capability and the level of consistency that builds trust.
With such a tight turnaround, a detailed pre-shoot brief was essential to ensure that time and output were maximised. Inevitably, there were some spontaneous moments, but with a good structure in place, they were absorbed without extending the timeline.
The resulting images will be used in the company’s planned website refresh, and, because the team had already identified SEO keywords as part of the planning process, this portfolio will be really pulling its weight behind the scenes as well as on the surface.
