Celebrating a year of Simply C Photoshoots

I recently decided to round up my year by showcasing my top 3 favorite images from the previous 12 months. But once I started, I couldn’t limit it and ended up with a modest collection of Simply fabulous images capturing the vibrancy, diversity, and joy that defined my busy year….

Personal Branding Headshots with Mike Bowden

As a seasoned photographer himself it is always a pleasure to work with Mike Bowden and I feel as though I finish our shoots with new skills of my own. This was the second time I had worked with him to create a ‘personal branding portfolio’ and it really demonstrates the importance of keeping your images up to date and relevant.

I was also excited to revisit the growing team at Unity Online, maintaining their headshots for their new website which is now live and returning throughout the year to capture their new team members as the business continues to grow.

Commercial Branding Photography – with Phil McEwan, Spacio, Bishop and Miller, and HTK

Recommendations are everything and Phil at Phil McEwan Consulting wholeheartedly recommended me to three of his clients: Spacio, Bishop and Miller and HTK to produce some commercially focused yet candid imagery that captures the essence of each business. Their websites are now filled with up-to-date, relevant images emphasising the enduring value of trust and collaboration in business. It was a pleasure to work with him, become good friends and create some personal branding images of him too. Phil’s fantastic review says more than I ever can!

Food Photography with Notcutts

I am thrilled when clients return as it’s a clear sign I’m on the right track. Working with Notcutts on their food images for their in-store restaurants has been particularly rewarding and working together time and again means that we can collaboratively develop and further strengthen their brand images.

I have also enjoyed a return assignment with the Beales Hotel Group at West Lodge Park to capture their new menu choices and recently refurbished bedrooms and am looking forward to returning to continue adding to their portfolio of images.

On a personal note….

It’s heartening to see how visual storytelling can play a role in promoting awareness and support for a cause that matters, capturing the essence of St Elizabeth Hospice through my lens has been a great personal achievement; seeing my photographs being embraced across various platforms, from their website and brochures to social media fills me with immense pride.
